I'm glad to hear that! One of the chief achievements for any illustrator is to be able to convey emotions or get them to flourish from looking at your artwork, so I'm very happy that I managed to do that with old Gregor.

Oh definitely! It made me look over information about what happened. So many emotions coming back up from it, I definitely feel sorry for the old Inquisitor. You portrayed the feel of it with a master's touch my good sir.

I am not sure this is the best place to post this, but it suddenly struck me that were one looking for a physical model for Commissar Ciaphas Cain HERO OF THE IMPERIUM Mr David Tennant (with that roguish charm and capacity to convey Sci-Fi Heroism) might be an excellent source of inspiration! (I don't expect in the least that this will provoke a depiction, I merely threw the idea out because quite frankly I just like getting this sort of thing off my chest when it occurs to me).Nod

That's actually a very good casting call, my friend!

To be honest, I still owe myself reading the Ciaphas Cain books. I've only done one depiction of him in black and white and greatly enjoyed it, so a second round would be amazing.

I think that the Ciaphas Cain books are just far too much fun to be allowed to go without such splendid artist fans as yourself taking a shot at illustrating them!;) (Wink)

It's all like something a Remembrancer would make with some luminescent material.

Love your work, especially on the Primarchs. One question. Was it by design or accident that you didn't include Lorgar of the Word Bearers in the collection?
