Thundercats - Wilykit and Wilykat

Happy Thursday, folks!

I had to take a brief hiatus from posting yesterday due to work, but we're back in full swing again and keeping up with my promise to wrap up the series I started with the Thundercats as the focus. Unfortunately (?), color will have to wait until I have more time; I trust the images will be dynamic and cool enough nonetheless.

This time around, we have the team's young ones upfront: Wilykit and Wilykat. Quite harder to draw than their other thunderians, I found this image to end up looking great; the key factor in rendering these kids being to make them look childish indeed as well as projecting that sort of aloofness and mischievous spirit that they had. Another interesting matter to take into account was making them more agile than their counterparts, which I also believe I managed pretty well. 
Since I wasn't going into this piece with color as an absolute necessity, I could throw some nice textures on the suits and hoverboard as well that I think add to the whole pretty nicely. Particularly the speed lines and blurred jungle landscape around them.

As usual, I hope you enjoy this one and look out for the last of the heroes' side tomorow. Because after that, it's onto the villains
