Happy Monday, folks!
Well, it's finally over. For now at least...
The seventh season of Game of Thrones concluded last night and as it became a sort of tradition for me the past few weeks, some fan art was in order after being on the edge of my seat for most of the 80-minute long finale.
A lot of things duly moved ahead in the plot, maybe too fast for some but understandably so for me. I have no complaints with the pacing, to be honest and the story's got to a point in which every decision made will be done so in haste. Winter has come and the long march of the dead is nearing its completion which will render all the bitter bickering amongst the houses moot in the face of the greatest threat ever laid upon Westeros. And to top it all off, the Night King has a new pet
It was a given (for me at least) that we'd see his nightly majesty ride the dragon he felled and promptly resurrected in the penultimate episode; but the delivery of such an awesome scene was still a breathtaking sight and one which I of course had to clumsily capture with my pens.
So, the wait now begins until the next and last season which will undoubtedly make this pale by comparison. The night is indeed dark and full of terrors
