Hey folks!
It's been a while and I apologise for not updating in so long. Work's kept me very busy. Luckily, as I finish up long overdue commissions, I'm allowed to show some of the cool stuff I've been working on here for your enjoyment (I hope!). Case in point, the above illustration.
I've always been very passionate about Alan Moore's work; fanatical almost. And V for Vendetta wasn't the exception. I read it way before the movie came out as I finished "Watchmen" and wanted more Moore in my life, so as with many things derived from a first impression, my memory still clings to the original. More so because I live in a country where many of the problems that are depicted there were still going on, especially regarding the lack of justice for the people.
That said, as with all of Mr. Moore's works, they trascend their original shape and become something else. The powerful ideas that V talked about go beyond him specifically and become a force that can be reshaped and reinterpreted with many meanings and different echoes. And despite the fact that the author may snuff at these threads growing beyond his control, it actually proves the point he makes in the very work he's written.
I of course, decided to go as old school as possible with this one, especially since I admire David Lloyd's work tremendously.
I hope to be able to post more regularly as usual and that you enjoy the updates!

I am somewhat embarrassed to admit that I'm very fond of the cinematic adaptation of this particular title; I hope this does not mark me as an admirer fit only to be banished to the Outer Limits of Shame?
