An update that is not 'The Sisters Grimm' related? Mark the day, fellow watchers and watcherettes...

I bring you, this time, something of a departure from my regular themes when it comes to illustrations. This was a commission request by a client that was hardcore D&D, something I don't get to draw often.
I don't get to draw Fantasy, but I always relish when I have the opportunity to depict a good, solid party of adventurers facing the unknown.

As a roleplayer myself, I find the worlds created by DMs very interesting and rich. Even more so when they depart from the rulebooks and manuals in favour of their own imaginings and vision. This is the case here, as you'll notice right away. The characters you see here are: Leefreon, a unique 'Sea Elf'; Shakra, a lizardman; Vincent, the brooding mage; and Albic, the cleric.

There's lots of details that I love and enjoy, like Leefreon's skin, or Shakra's scales. The slowly falling rain outside the broken down temple as well as the whole atmosphere of decay around the characters are something that I think enhances the whole 'dark vs. light' theme (which the client pointed out as essential in their campaign). The personality that leaps out of each one of them I think is also very strong, and they look definitely resolute in moving forward on their adventure.
