Happy Monday, folks!
I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was filled with sketches of things to come and finishing up projects as usual. That said, I did sneak some time to do my regular warm-ups and following the latest trend from last week, I bring you yet another one of the Supermen.
The Man of Steel, John Henry Irons, was another one of the candidates to take up Superman's mantle after his death at the hands of Doomsday. And though it was evident he wasn't the true 'Man of Steel' reincarnated, he did side with the better intentions of his predecessor and against the Cyborg Superman's evil schemes. So much so that he ended up carrying the shield long after the retun of the true Superman and became of his most trusted friends.
For me, drawing shiny, metal things is almost second nature at this point, so this one came about quicker than usual. I loved the contrast that the cape offered against the texture of the armor and as I've said before, these 90s designs still hold up pretty well despite the passing of time.
