FREE MARS: A2A, Title Page by NicolasRGiacondino FREE MARS: A2A, Title Page by NicolasRGiacondino
Happy Friday, fellow watchers and watcherettes!

Well, 2013 seems to be keeping me mighty busy already, with a workload like you wouldn't believe. I'm doing, on average, 60 pages a month worth of comic projects. Yeah, 60. I'd like to think Jack Kirby would be proud of me...

As usual, most of these projects are still non-disclosed, so I can't show much about them. What I can (and shamelessly will) show you, is both FREE MARS and Divinity's updates, which are not only disclosed, but well advertised too.

Here you have the Ashes2Ashes title page and, in the words of writer extraordinaire Dave Pauwels, "Nic delivers the right hook this week to the combination punch that is the opening sequence of Ashes2Ashes. And what an amazing title page. After a frenetic start, itís nice to know that Nic can stop (Hammertime) the pace dead in its tracks (literally, with a tank full of punk rockers) with a page like this. Welcome to the future! Vikki Grimm looks confident, her new role as rock spy seems to be agreeing with her. While the rest of our tank girls look equal parts posh and battle-ready, proving that looking good and being combat prepared are not mutually exclusive."

My personal evaluation of my comic work lately is positive as well. I am working a lot on my composition, which was a bit cluttered; thus I'm blocking more now, leaving areas sort of washed out, whilst others are hyper-detailed. That contrast and choosing which elements to define and which not I think make for a better viewing of the images and therefore the story.

Let us know what you thinka s usual and see you soon!

Not keen on Samantha's new hairdo, but otherwise, looking great :ahoy:

awesome & dynamic! One small crit tho: The flaming debris in the background reads a bit like a shell ejecting from Vic's weapon. As she clearly hasn't shot Gibson (yet) it's a little confusing.

Very nice layout here. The ever so slightly skewed angle of perspective gives an off-balance touch to the whole image :)

Great work as always, Nic. Can't wait to see what you guys do with Track 2.
