"The Worm: 'Allo.
Sarah: Did you say... hello?
The Worm: No, I said "'allo," but that's close enough."

Happy Tuesday, folks!

Well, as I said yesterday, lots of projects are going on this week (as usual!), so my time will be pretty limited to them. Hence, any warm-ups I do will also have to have that B&W flavor I like so much and prepares me for the inking and pencilling ahead.

I usually try not to plan anything when sketching and practicing because that's what I basically do for every other endeavor I'm drawing. Thus, I like to keep things a little fresh and see what I come up with. Often, an image will come to me from a film/comic I love and such is the case today. The film in question, as many of you will undoubtedly recognise, is "Labyrinth".
I absolutely adored this movie as a child and the passion only grew as I became an adult. Jennifer Connelly was, of course, an instant crush for me and the whole goblin world was so amazing and enthralling I spent hours trying to draw the different characters and scenes. And I still do, apparently :D Luckily, my skills have improved much from those days and I believe I can now pay some proper homage to this great Fantasy landscape that Jim Henson and crew created.

I'm really proud of how this one came out, especially Sarah. I was doubtful that i could catch the likeness of Jennifer and while I didn't try I ended up managing to capture some of the character's essence, I think. The worm has always been a favorite of mine, with his thick english accent and matter-of-fact attitude towards the weird maze this girl has to trudge to find her brother.

I may revisit the Labyrinth a few more times to draw more of these beloved characters, so I hope you enjoy this one and thanks as usual for the support!

See you tomorrow.
