s u R r e A l i T y - C h L o e

Hello once again, fellow watchers and watcherettes!

This week is drowning me in work so far, so I'm here to show you a quick something I've done in-between assignments for the webcomic Surreality. You can check it out here:

It's written by the very talented Caleb King and illustrated by the wonderful Carla Wyzlaga, whom have been kind enough to let me try my hand at another of their characters, the beautiful Chloe, the protagonists best friend.
As opposed to Sydney (whom I've already illustrated here: ), Chloe is much more of a free spirit. In the words of the writer: "Chloe loves being in the clubs and surrounded by music. She is fun, loving and possesses the total opposite character traits of the stereotypical club person. Being balanced in mind and spirit, Chloe is the supportive voice and conscious of Sydney, encouraging her to move forward in life but doing so without being judgmental. Chloe has found recent success as a club DJ and often dresses the part, but that look belies the sweet and nurturing nature that lies underneath."

I certainly tried to make this illustration less dark and troubled than the first; and, whilst I kept the onirical, surreal theme of the webcomic, I tried to make it much more amenable and cool.
