Hello fellow watchers and watcherettes!
I thought it'd be good to kickstart Monday with a bang!, and who are better at that than the Emperor's Hammer: The Imperial Guard.
I can't get enough of drawing these guys; the absurdity of being a soldier in a universe where a demon can come out of a portal and engulf your soul is only surpassed by the bravery of such a path. To keep firing, fighting and running ahead in spite of the inhuman threats before you is, I believe, the IGs most notable quality. As usual, I hope I have captured a glimpse of such epicness in this humble illustration, which (on top of being from one of my favorite forces in the Imperium) is also in B&W. A winning combination in my book.
