Friday's here, folks and with it the wrapping up of another wek of ceaseless toil! 
In keeping with my promise the other day about doing more imagery related to my own creations and in light of your warm reception to the idea, here's another glimpse into the world of Nightfell which i hope you enjoy.
As I've mentioned before, "Nightfell" takes place in a Fantasy realm where its day and night cycles last years on end. And while the day cycles are for the ordinary, everyday living humans on the surface of the earth, the night cycles bring about the rising of the dreaded creatures that live below biding their time to come out and feast upon mankind. The only thing standing between the residents of Kamteh, City of the Living and the Berunmen are the Corpse Guard; valiant knights and warriors that rise from the dead to fight for the living. Because yes, in this world, the dead resurrect during the night and are the good guys!
Of course, in a world where the dead rise every few years to protect you, living society as a whole has organised around preserving and trading in corpses that can serve their purpose when the time is right. Always faithful to the living and accepting of their commands by way of secret embalming rituals that secure their complete obedience, the dead can be bought and traded for a myriad of tasks. From simple housekeeping work up to warrior elites.
In this image in particular, I wanted to depict how a transaction worked in the market of corpse warriors for protection and the obvious back and forth that client and seller are having for the 'merchandise'.
