Happy Wednesday folks!
As promised, I'm keeping the updates fresh this week and today kicks off with my latest warm-up.
A lot has been said about DCs latest film, Suicide Squad and whilst I agree with the majority of the critics about it being a mess (and maybe worse: a missed opportunity), I still understand why the fans want to make the best of it. I mean, it's as Kevin Smith always points out: it's unthinkable that a movie like this could get made back in the day so we have to keep the bucks flowing in, in hopes of getting better and better films each time. I remember that the last Marvel film I watched before 2008s 'Iron Man' was 'Ghost Rider'... you can imagine what my expectations were going in
The designs for the characters were pretty interesting from the get-go, even though our lady Harley's been criticised for her sexualisation and so forth; and whilst I agree to some degree (I will never understand why a female character can't be sexy AND strong at the same time), these warm-ups of mine are meant to challenge me somewhat outside of my usual go-to zones. Thus, while I would've chosen the classic outfit to illustrate Miss Quinzel, I did an effort to try my hand at the newest iteration. I think I did pretty well!
Adding the small dialogue balloons always gives the whole a more comic-book feel, so I love that detail.
As usual, your comments/thoughts are appreciated and have a great day!

Now I like this picture but....the position of the bat(man) looks....weird, almost as harley punch the guard with her fist instead
