Description
Happy Thor's Day, folks!
Having missed yesterday's warm-up post due to a deadline, I hope this piece makes up for it in its detail
This warm-up belongs to the same fellow who asked me to do Tuesday's Faora-Ul and it was just as welcome. It's not usual that I get asked to draw comic-book characters as my requests are often more related to the Dark Millenium. So when I heard him say Deathstroke, I was really excited at the chance to render the ol' one eye Especially given my love of armor.
I kept this one as simple as I do the warm-ups, because the idea is not to get too carried away and lose time from other long-standing projects. Plus, if it stops being fun and experimental, then it serves no purpose at all. That said, I do try and pack as much detail as possible within the small canvas, which I think is the case here.
The gadgets, gun and armor design of Slade Wilson's tactical costume are pretty tricky, which challenged me to make good time despite them and I did end up with a very cool take of my own on the master assassin. Also: I love orange!
As usual, I hope you enjoy these and sound off on the comments if you have a few! Any s will be appreciated too, of course.
I'll see you tomorrow and thanks as usual!
Nic.-

Darn solid. I like how you broke the frame with the rifle muzzle and smoke.
