Evil Deeds...

Well, this is going to be my last submission in a couple of weeks, i think; this whole month is going to be pretty chaotic, so i won't have all the time i want to do stuff for pleasure such as this illustration.
The story of this image is pretty simple: i have been wanting to do a Fan Art for quite some time, based on the 'He-Man' redesigns that the godly artist Marko Djurdjevic posted over at ConceptART.org [link] When i saw them i was in complete awe, and the stories he had written for the characters were excellent too; as a fan of 'He-Man' myself i finally found someone who did justice to these creations! Of all the designs, the ones that i loved most where those of Skeletor and his personal herald witch Evil-Lyn. So, i decided i wanted to give a go at it.
This is what i came up with and i'm very happy with the result. I feel that Marko's designs are great, but they lacked that 'cartoony' side to them which is what 'He-Man' was all about... so, all in all, i think i've been able to do the characters more cartoony but keep the creepiness and slick redesigns of Mr. Djurdjevic.
If you're wondering what is Skeletor doing to Evil-Lyn, well, i'll just quote Marko's own words here:
"Evil-Lyn, the Souless
Evil-Lyn wanted Power from Skeletor and offered everything to her lord, even her soul. Skeletor raped her into pieces and sucked her soul out, sewing her lifeless body together afterwards and breathing foul life back into her. She is now his vessel but commands a lot of the greater powers that Skeletor bestowed upon her for offering her soul to him."
